Lead Designer and Engineering Manager

A seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in mechanical/aeronautical engineering is required to lead our design team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in both metallic and composites design, as well as sound knowledge on Fuselage, Wing, Empennage, Control Surfaces, etc., on structures.

They will be experienced in Aerospace Stress activities, various ATA chapters, and Technical measures at each stage with Metrics. They will also be knowledgeable on Product Design, Plant Engineering, Repair Activities, Tool Design, Mfg. Engineering, Manufacturing, MROs, Aerospace Systems ES, MSI, etc.

The successful candidate will ensure signatory delegation process (SDP) as per A1020/M1020 requirements and review WPL recommendation/requests on DOA scope.

Other key responsibilities include coordinating with QA Department on process compliances/requirements, coordinating with WPLs to improvement on Quality metrics, and maintaining the list of nominees and signatories through CTPS record.

Key qualities we are looking for include good communication, presentation skills, project management, risks and mitigations, and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a proactive leader who can drive technical initiatives and best practices. Innovations/global paper publications are also desirable.

The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of Design Regulatory requirements for the aero domain and knowledge on FAR 21 G, FAR 21 J, and other Supplementary Type Certifications and its Requirements.
