Senior Data Protection Specialist

Talentiser is seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to join our global team.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, with a focus on U.S. federal and state laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on data protection matters, including AI governance, student data privacy, and compliance obligations.
  • Develop and implement Talentiser's global data protection program, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise, advice, and trainings on data protection legal and compliance obligations.
  • Assist with monitoring compliance with Talentiser's data protection policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Raise awareness and deliver effective training to promote best practices and drive a data protection-oriented culture.
  • Support data governance efforts, preparing and overseeing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs), and other compliance documentation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AI governance and compliance efforts, aligning with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Advise on appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect and safeguard personal data, with a focus on student data.
  • Support customer conversations on data protection and AI, assisting with vendor contract diligence.
