Risk and Control Manager

Job Summary
The Corporate Bank Global Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations Risk & Control Team at F335 Deutsche India Private Limited, Bangalore Branch is looking for a skilled Risk and Control Manager to support Operations with first line operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the GCSMO findings portfolio and oversee timely, accurate and complete execution of finding lifecycle events in accordance with the Findings Management methodology.
- Liaise with Group Audit and Second Line functions for nearly hundred reviews per year, pro-actively preparing these audits to ensure any risks are identified upfront.
- Identify opportunities to reduce the risk of the overall function and actively communicate to and contribute to change programs.
- Instill a control mind set across the organization, ensuring that control focus is prominent and proactively question and challenge Operations to identify areas of potential weakness.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Operations teams and its management to build an effective partnership to reduce operational risks across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong finding management and operational risk management expertise with an exposure to control practices and audits.
- 2nd line or 3rd line/Audit experience preferred.
- Good understanding of front to back processes and applications, ideally in payments and securities.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skills, and innovative mind-set.
- Ability to remain objective and to independently raise areas of operational risk exposure, while maintaining an effective working relationship with the line and other areas within DB.
