Job Description:

Schneider Electric's strategic initiative focuses on digital automation and energy management. The company caters to diverse segments, including homes, agriculture, buildings, infrastructure, and industry. It achieves this by combining energy technologies, real-time automation, software, and services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing electronic products at EMS. This involves electronic manufacturing process of EMS and quality. Additionally, the role includes de-risking and rationalizing supplier bases according to sourcing strategies for electronic components. Furthermore, alternate component/source development, parts approval processes with engineering and quality teams, zero-based costing, rate fixation, negotiation, and revisions as per agreed frequencies are key responsibilities.

Effective working knowledge of IT tools like SAP and advanced Excel is essential. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and working on identified projects for cost reduction are also crucial tasks. The candidate should have good sourcing knowledge of local and global distribution for electronic products.

Project management skills, decision-making capabilities, and collaboration with agile approaches are vital qualities required for the position. The ideal candidate should possess experience in strategic sourcing, electronics distribution, manufacturing process, product costing, SAP, and project management skills.
