Memory Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled memory designer to join our team at ARM. As a memory design professional, you will be responsible for developing innovative memory architectures in cutting-edge process technologies. This role offers a rare opportunity to work with our successful circuits, characterization, and layout team, and gain a deep understanding of memory usage in SoCs based on Arm cores.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop memory architectures for the latest technologies.
  • Collaborate with the physical design team to realize layout designs.
  • Optimize designs to meet performance, power, and area targets.
  • Perform verification and characterization activities and analyze results.
  • Ensure high-performance memory designs with the lowest possible power consumption for Arm CPUs, GPUs, and SOCs.

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience in memory design.
  • Strong understanding of basic electronics, digital electronics fundamentals, and memory fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of technology trade-offs in deep sub-micron technologies.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and positive attitude.
  • Organized and exhibits attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of advanced process technology nodes and layout implementation of memory products.
  • Shell Scripting, ML, and Automation skills.
