As a skilled data professional, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue for streamlined data processing.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data availability and adherence to requirements.
  • Develop optimized SQL queries for seamless data transformation and integration.
  • Utilize Git for version control and code collaboration.
  • Create scalable data lakes using AWS S3 and related services for streamlined data storage.
  • Work with Amazon DynamoDB and Redshift for high-performance data storage solutions.
  • Design interactive dashboards using Amazon QuickSight for data visualization.
  • Automate workflows with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge for increased efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL for effective data analysis.
  • Proficient in Git and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for successful collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling for advanced data management.
  • Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark for comprehensive data insights.
  • AWS certifications in data engineering are highly valued.
