Business Information Security Specialist

- Strong Analytical Mindset: We are looking for a Business Information Security Specialist who can apply first principles to solve complex problems and drive business value.
- 4-6 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT jobs with a focus on business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high level of personal integrity, and ability to build trust with stakeholders.
- Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, code reviews, design document reviews, technical talks, teaching classes, or as a consultant on projects.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with cloud computing, elastic computing across virtualized environments.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management, including managed services.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and PCI.
- Experience with systems scaling and ability to design secure systems.
- Professional security management certification.
