Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Professional to support our internal controls and risk management initiatives. As an Information Security Consultant, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and reporting on operational and system IT internal controls.
This role will act as a point of contact for Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams, working closely with Technology functional teams and internal business lines to deliver the overall Cybersecurity Compliance program.
">Key Responsibilities:- Monitor changes in business processes, information systems, management, and operations to maintain risk assessments.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with process owners to ensure effective leadership.
- Conduct audits of control effectiveness and design projects, ensuring timely completion within established deadlines.
- Evaluate internal controls and department functions, identifying areas of improvement.
- Assist with internal investigations and promote good practice of Information Security Compliance to staff and associated contractors.
- Experience in evaluating third parties for fundamental information security controls.
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.
- Exposure to GRC technologies for risk management and knowledge of compliance standards/framework like ISO 27001/27002, NIST, SOC1, SSAE16/SOC2, CIS.
- Technical domains such as network security, cloud security, application security, and penetration test concepts.
- High level of written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certifications.
Minimum 4 years IT experience, equivalent combination of education and experience, and experience contributing to midsize-to-large multi-country initiatives.
