Wireless Network Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Administrator to manage and support our Cisco Meraki network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the security, high availability, and compliance of our Meraki AP, Switch, and Firewall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Meraki network devices (MX, MR, MS) on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support and maintain Wi-Fi connectivity for users across locations.
  • Manage switch ports, VLAN assignments, and basic network changes.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers for escalations and configuration changes.
  • Maintain documentation of network setups and issue resolutions.
  • Provide user support for network-related issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in wired and wireless networking.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki Dashboard.
  • Basic understanding of Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 concepts – VLANs, trunk/access ports, port security.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and coordinate with L3 teams when needed.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Malayalam language is mandatory.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or a related field, as well as 2+ years of experience in network administration. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently or in teams. On-site general shift availability is necessary, with support for planned changes. Knowledge of English and Malayalam languages is essential.
