Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to collaborate with clients from the banking industry on projects focused on maintaining and developing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

  • Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services for clients.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including user needs analysis, feature development, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure solution quality, security, reliability, and compliance by implementing digital principles and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contribute to hiring processes, and participate in internal communities and engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in core banking integration area, with a focus on development.
  • Strong interest in learning new technologies and practices, as well as reusing strategic platforms and standards.
  • Good communicator with skills in making presentations and technical writing.
  • Proficiency in Java and relevant tech stack, awareness of 'Clean Code' principles, and understanding of modern architecture and design patterns.
  • Test Driven Development skills, ability to design Unit, Integration, and Functional tests, and hands-on DevOps experience.
