Lead Our Engineering Team

As a visionary leader, we are seeking an experienced Hands-on CTO / Tech Lead to spearhead our engineering team's growth and success. This is a founder's office role that offers the opportunity to design, build, and scale messaging platforms.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and scaling of SMS/WhatsApp API & campaign platforms, working hands-on in PHP/MySQL (current stack) while planning transition to microservices (Node.js/Go/Python). They will also architect and manage high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and database optimization, ensuring 99.9% uptime, security, and cost optimization of infra.

In addition to leading the team, this individual will collaborate on roadmap, new features, and compliance (Meta, TRAI, RCS), building and mentoring a lean team (backend, frontend, QA).

Requirements
  • 6–8 years of experience in backend/API-heavy systems.
  • Strong coding skills in PHP/MySQL, with exposure to Node.js/Go/Python.
  • Experience with high-scale messaging, API security, queues, load balancing.
  • Prior startup/leadership experience preferred.
  • A builder who loves to code, architect, and lead.
