Our organisation seeks a highly skilled professional to support policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design in Madhya Pradesh.

Job Overview

This role involves close collaboration with state government institutions to drive policy change through evidence-based research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement applied research projects on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyse large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques to inform policy decisions.
  • Develop high-quality policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders to promote knowledge exchange.
  • Contribute to roundtables, workshops, and consultations on policy challenges.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management and internal capability building.
  • Collaborate with other researchers to ensure high-quality outputs.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and independently manage research projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet research timelines and deliverables.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior work experience in state-level or applied policy research, especially in Madhya Pradesh.
