Design Compressor Components and Manage Engineering Projects
Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing compressor components efficiently interpreting various applicable international codes and standards along with Siemens internal standards.

You will apply your knowledge of these standards to detail design compressor components, prepare detailed models and drawings, and manage engineering bills of materials using Siemens NX integrated with Teamcenter.

In addition, you will perform detail self-reviews and peer reviews, participate in and lead design reviews, understand project requirements, and coordinate optimally with distributed teams.

Key responsibilities include identifying and addressing deviations/issues in projects in consultation with technical leads, ensuring quality and timely deliveries of engineering documentation, handling project activities, schedules, and budgets using JIRA, performing fixes, analyzing failures, preparing root cause analysis, and implementing actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other comparable degrees.
  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering work experience.
  • Significant hands-on experience working with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Experience in creating detailed manufacturing drawings using GDT as per ASME Y 14.5.
  • Excellent teamwork skills to support and serve distributed teams.
  • Ability to work independently with clarity on scope and responsibility.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects and deadlines.
  • High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, able to pull inputs and interact with interface partners.
