Backend Developer for Cloud-Based Applications

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in MongoDB and Spring Boot API development, experienced in working on OSS 2 and Apigee platforms hosted on AWS.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services that support our cloud-based applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework.
  • Design and manage MongoDB databases ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Work with OSS 2 and Apigee platforms to build and manage API gateways and integrations.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for performance and reliability.
  • Ensure security best practices in API development and data management.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Required skills and experience include strong experience with MongoDB database design and management, proficiency in developing APIs using Spring Boot, hands-on experience with OSS 2 platform, and experience working with Apigee API management platform.

Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment is also essential, as well as a solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, knowledge of security standards and best practices in API development, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, and knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
