Job Opportunity: Endur QA Lead

Role Overview:

  • As a seasoned QA professional, you will lead and execute comprehensive testing activities on the trading platform, ensuring seamless functionality, optimal performance, and reliability across various environments.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools, encompassing integration, regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes, identifying critical areas for testing and driving quality enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations, promoting robust software development.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing guidance on both technical and non-technical aspects of testing.
  • Define, implement, and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies across all projects, upholding exceptional testing quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure the integrity of test data, environments, and processes, maintaining high standards of testing quality and efficiency.
  • Support user acceptance testing and contribute to training and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Identify and document defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software, aligning with industry standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by evaluating current QA practices and recommending process enhancements, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on trading or financial platforms, and strong knowledge of Endur or similar systems.
  • Extensive experience in functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing within complex trading environments.
  • Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and market data in relation to trading platforms.
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks and familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Exposure to and understanding of the full trade lifecycle, allied with strong knowledge of system business processes.
