Automation Tester Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

You will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently and contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

In this role, you will identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing, create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation, and track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about automation and has experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.
  • Experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.
  • Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
