Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks.

  • Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering Expertise:
  • Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data pipelines using cloud-native technologies
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
  • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion
  • Work with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Glue, S3, Redshift or GCP BigQuery, Dataflow
  • Optimize performance and cost across data workloads and cloud environments

Responsibilities also include:

  • Data Governance: Defining and enforcing data rules, validations, anomaly detection and reconciliation
  • Implementing data lineage and metadata tracking using Azure Purview
  • Driving adoption of data cataloguing, profiling, and classification tools
  • Collaborating with data stewards and compliance teams to ensure governance alignment
  • Implementing role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, encryption, and tokenization

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of building scalable data pipelines and implementing enterprise-grade data governance, security, and AI-powered engineering automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, test case documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned projects. They will also mentor junior data engineers and contribute to technical best practices.
