Job Role: Data Annotation Specialist

This role is fully remote.

We are seeking a skilled professional for a contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Annotate data accurately and consistently in line with project guidelines, encompassing text, image, video, or audio formats.
  • Verify existing annotations for consistency and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand annotation requirements and implement feedback effectively.
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail across various annotation tasks.
  • Achieve daily and weekly productivity and quality goals set by the team.
  • Identify issues and suggest improvements in annotation tools and processes to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is desirable.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and use of annotation tools or platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions effectively.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, particularly in English (additional languages may be an asset depending on the data type).
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in data annotation or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.
