Software Development Expert Wanted

We are looking for an experienced software development expert to lead our team in creating high-quality, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend software development, with a focus on enterprise-level systems. They will be responsible for designing and developing efficient, reliable, and cloud-native services using modern technologies like Java Spring Boot microservices.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java Spring Boot microservices.
  • Lead the migration of legacy .NET code that integrates with our loan servicing platform to the new Java stack.
  • Implement a modern event-driven system using cloud-native technologies like Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Build and deploy services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, including Cloud Functions, Spanner, and Firestore.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Own the entire development lifecycle, demonstrating confidence in taking features to production through a robust CI/CD pipeline.
  • Go beyond the user story to develop a deep understanding of the entire system, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Professional experience with .NET (C#), with a demonstrated ability to read, understand, and reverse-engineer legacy codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically with services like Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Spanner, and/or Firestore.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns.
  • Proven experience working with message brokers and event streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub).
  • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
