Job Description:

The role of a Product Visionary at Growhut involves developing and managing the development and strategy of our pioneering technology products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI trends, software development, and product lifecycle management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy Development: Develop a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals, leveraging your expertise in AI trends and market demands.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical bridge between the product, engineering, and business teams, ensuring that product decisions are informed by a deep understanding of the technical possibilities and constraints.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term deliverables with long-term vision, incorporating feedback from customers, market research, and internal stakeholders.
  • Feature Specification: Collaborate with engineering teams to define detailed technical requirements and specifications, ensuring that products are feasible to develop and meet customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through product planning, development, and launch processes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept through launch and beyond, making data-driven decisions to iterate, expand, or sunset features/products as necessary.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the product portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and discussions, effectively communicating technical details and product strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and project management techniques.
  • Proficiency in MERN stack and Figma required.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
