Job Description:

This role involves components of accounting, governance, and customer interactions. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders from multiple groups within the organization to establish a governance process for accurate revenue recognition and adherence to contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining documentation and information for internal management and investor reporting, establishing a month-close process, recording accounting entries and transactions, ensuring timely collections from customers, and generating invoices and credit notes according to contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a robust governance process for revenue recognition and contract adherence.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial documentation.
  • Implement a seamless month-end close process and record all accounting entries and transactions accurately.
  • Ensure timely collections from customers and resolve any related issues.
  • Generate professional invoices and credit notes in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Update and distribute monthly schedules and reports.
  • Prepare and finalize audit schedules and resolve any queries related to vendor management and asset management.

Requirements:

  • MBA Finance or Commerce Graduate with expertise in accounting.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable/Asset Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of local Indian financial reporting and tax compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of maturity to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mindset.
