Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Chief RF Semiconductor Technology Developer to lead our cutting-edge RF technology development and integration efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in RF-CMOS and RF-SOI technologies, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate RF-CMOS and RF-SOI technologies, focusing on enhancing performance and extending application ranges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and layout test chips, optimize device/technology performance, and extract SPICE models.
  • Lead wide band gap RF technology development and project management from initial justification to final qualification and yield ramp.
  • Promote user-friendly PDKs with well-characterized toolboxes through collaboration with Design enablement teams and CAD partners.
  • Select and interact with universities, research labs, and commercial entities to drive a world-class roadmap.
  • Buid and lead a cross-functional team across diverse geographies and build strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL's technical capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of CMOS, SiGe BICMOS, and RF power devices and technology integration.
  • Deep knowledge of RF technology parameters and figures of merit (RonCoff, 1/f noise, linearity, etc).
  • Proven track record in delivering these technologies into volume manufacturing.
  • Experience in achieving competitive performance, understanding integration features' impact on technology performance and costs.
  • Able to work with designers, modelling teams, and customers to design and characterize basic circuits (LNA's, switches, PA's, etc).
  • Delivered similar technologies previously.
  • Track record of publications and patents.
  • Understanding of key modules especially as they pertain to RF technologies (Epi, Implant, BEOL, heterogeneous integration).
  • Understanding of RF front end module trends and existing/emerging RF standards with impact on technology requirements.
Salary Range:

$250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on experience.
