Job Title:

Accounting Process Manager

Manage the end-to-end accounting process for UK insurance lines, involving data intake, validation, verification, administration, settlement, and documentation issuance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Intake: Gather all relevant financial and transactional data from brokers and other sources, including Bordereaux, EBOT messages, internal debit notes, broker invoices, and other documents.
  2. Validation, Verification & Assessment: Ensure data integrity and completeness by validating against legacy systems, manipulating and loading Bordereaux, performing tax breakdowns (UK/ROW and FOS), loading FRA & GRUVA, and liaising with brokers, operations, and credit control.
  3. Administration & Processing: Enter premiums into OpenCo with detailed breakdowns, follow up with brokers on unclosed risks, keep records for audit compliance, and manage workflow.
  4. Settlement: Resolve cash discrepancies and chase outstanding premiums by coordinating with credit control.
  5. Documentation Issuance, Reporting, Control Checks: Properly archive all documents, monitor daily tracking of unclosed risks, prepare audit data, review tax reports, check endorsement and booking report, manage KPIs, and provide weekly status updates.
Requirements:
  • Experience in technical accounting, preferably in insurance lines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
