Expert Infotainment and Telematics Systems Developer

The Infotainment & Telematics system engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge systems that meet the evolving needs of the automotive industry.

• This role requires a deep understanding of infotainment and telematics systems, including their architecture, functionality, and integration with vehicle electrical and electronics systems.
• As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop market-leading solutions that exceed customer expectations.

About This Role:

• This position involves defining features from user story level to detailed functional requirements, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
• You will stay up-to-date on advancements in infotainment, telematics, and domain controller hardware architecture to drive innovation and improvement in our products.
• A successful candidate will have excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
• This role requires experience in preparing requirements for Infotainment, Telematics, and Cluster Systems, as well as familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, 4G technologies.
• A strong understanding of vehicle electrical and electronics architecture, Automotive Development lifecycle, and Embedded Software Development lifecycle is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define features from user story level to detailed functional requirements, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in infotainment, telematics, and domain controller hardware architecture.
• Work with UI/UX design teams, hardware, and software engineering teams to develop market-leading solutions.
• Represent system requirements and review implementation during software sprints.
• Coordinate hardware team for timely delivery of hardware development milestones.
• Benchmark competitor products and offerings from the automotive and consumer product landscape.
• Develop and grow the company's IP portfolio in the area of Infotainment & Telematics systems.
• Define testing and validation requirements for Infotainment & Telematics systems.
• Support stakeholders by providing technical inputs to RFI/RFQ processes and working with engineering program management.

What We're Looking For:

• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the automotive or consumer electronics industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in infotainment and telematics systems, including architecture, functionality, and integration with vehicle electrical and electronics systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
