Infotainment Test Engineer – Manual Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled manual tester to join our team. As an Infotainment Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing thorough testing of infotainment systems in automotive environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing of embedded systems or infotainment platforms and a good understanding of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST). They should also be familiar with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing manual testing of infotainment systems in automotive environments.
  • Validating features such as Bluetooth, Navigation, Media, Connectivity, Voice Recognition, and HMI interactions.
  • Executing test cases, logging defects, and working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conducting system-level, integration, and regression testing.
  • Preparing and maintaining test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and validation teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in manual testing of embedded systems or infotainment platforms.
  • Good understanding of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST).
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CSE, or related).
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience with OEMs or Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
