Deposit Operations Specialist Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the efficient handling and processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and processing financial transactions submitted on paper and through various digital channels.
  • Verifying all financial transaction entries to ensure debits and credits are balanced, and making necessary adjustments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Reviewing Positive Pay Exceptions and deposit returns.

This position requires a deep understanding of deposit operations, financial transactions processing, and banking policies & procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in finance, commerce, or business administration and be proficient in MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills.

Able to work in shifts and relocate postings as per business needs. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for cross-functional collaboration.
