Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle 12c/19c performance tuning and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong emphasis on Application DBA responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and resolving database bottlenecks affecting application/API performance, tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL packages, and implementing best practices for connection pooling and caching strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, with emphasis on Application DBA responsibilities
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, optimizer hints
  • SQL and PL/SQL development and debugging
  • AWR, ASH, ADDM, TKPROF, and other Oracle diagnostic/tuning tools
  • Experience supporting web applications, API-driven architectures, or middleware platforms
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion Cloud database integration (Pub/Sub methodology preferred)
  • Knowledge of high availability, scalability, and SLA management for mission-critical applications
  • Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and user access controls
