We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building operation and maintenance projects, as well as knowledge of relevant local regulations and internal safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement project-specific HSE plans and carry out necessary updates or revisions in response to changing site conditions, risks, or client requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant local HSE regulations and internal safety policies.
  • Develop and maintain tailored HSE plans, procedures, and documentation specific to the site to support safe work practices and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Implement and monitor HSE procedures and safe work practices on site.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and carry out updates in coordination with management to reflect changes in site operations or risk profiles.
  • Monitor environmental compliance, manage waste and emissions, and maintain the environmental aspects and impacts register.
  • Conduct visual HSE inspections of indoor and outdoor areas, identifying hazards and reporting non-compliance.
  • KPI tracking by documenting findings and contributing to monthly reporting requirements.
  • Lead the investigation and documentation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
  • Recommend corrective actions and ensure their implementation and verification.
  • Deliver HSE trainings and SOPs to inspection teams and staff.
  • Raise awareness about site-specific risks and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Contribute to the monthly client reporting process with HSE-related data.
  • Ensure accurate CAFM entries for safety inspection findings and follow-ups.
  • Maintain documentation of all safety audits, inspections, and safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and inspectors to ensure coordinated quality & safety implementation.
  • Participate in client meetings related to safety KPIs and compliance, providing technical HSE input.
