Job Overview

As a HVDC/FACTS Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HVDC/FACTS systems. Your primary responsibilities will include testing and commissioning of software and hardware for control & protection for HVDC/FACTS/AC Switchyard systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to HVDC/FACTS systems.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to customers on system installation, operation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Testing and Commissioning: Ensure that all HVDC/FACTS systems are thoroughly tested and commissioned before delivery to customers.
  2. Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to HVDC/FACTS systems.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to develop and execute business growth strategies.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in HVDC/FACTS systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in HVDC/FACTS system design, testing, and commissioning.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of HVDC/FACTS systems and technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with numerical protection relays and factory acceptance tests.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
