**Job Title:** IT Systems Administrator
">IT Systems AdministratorWe are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SUSE servers, as well as providing Level 3 support to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain SUSE servers, including building and re-imaging servers in both physical and virtual environments.
- Provide Level 3 support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Manage Linux virtual machines configured in ESX environments.
- Patch and upgrade operating systems on SUSE servers.
- Have exposure to DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, email services, and SAN or NAS environments.
- Have knowledge of RAID, LVM, clusters, and package management.
- Have good understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP routing, and name resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Proficiency in SUSE server management.
- Knowledge of Linux virtualization platforms like ESX.
- Experience with patching and upgrading operating systems.
- Understanding of DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, email services, and SAN or NAS environments.
- Knowledge of RAID, LVM, clusters, and package management.
- Good understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP routing, and name resolution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
