Job Description

  • As a Personal Banker, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while managing daily branch operations.

  • You will be responsible for account opening and maintenance, ensuring all necessary documents are submitted by the customer. Your duties will also include handling customer enquiries and instructions, maintaining strict vigilance on the quality of forms and documentation provided, and ensuring timely follow-up with Sales RMs of all BUs for resolution of any outstanding deferrals.

  • Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring all transactions, addressing transaction-related enquiries, and ensuring strong compliance with bank policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of bank's and customer's assets.

  • In terms of service and quality, you will ensure that all people, process, data & systems in the branch are well attended to deliver consistent & superior levels of service to all customers. You will also coordinate with relationship managers and meet / interact with key clients on a periodic basis to stock take on service levels and customer satisfaction.

  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for implementing 5S, ISO 9001:2000, Six Sigma standards & meet/exceed set quality parameters conforming to the standards. You will also maintain highest levels of discipline (punctuality, attendance, grooming standards etc) in the office and manage Local Vendors /agency relationships to ensure smooth execution of transaction.

  • Finally, as a system to reformat text and improve it, you will be responsible for Branch upkeep & maintenance and control over the cost.
