Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake pre and post-sales promotional activities for the period and take measures to increase the market share/sales targets using technical skills, expertise and knowledge.
  • Control outstanding/overdues by vigilantly monitoring the dealers and ensure that the transactions are timely completed, adhering to set deadlines and standards.
  • Tackle challenges head-on and take initiatives to drive growth for the organization, ensuring sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the company.

Customer Focus
  • Coordinate with Regional Technical Services Manager for site visits and leverage their expertise to maximize non-trade sales as per requirements, needs and specifications.
  • Maintain cordial relations with engineers, architects, and construction companies within the area to get repeat orders and keep them up to date with changes in technical specifications/upgradations in product composition.
  • Pursue new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated areas, regions and markets.

Operational Excellence
  • Monitor fluctuations in sales targets and take preventive/corrective measures to avoid similar issues in the future by addressing any technical knowledge gaps.
  • Assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical perspective, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers, prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required, expected and needed.
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets customer needs, expectations and requirements.
  • Contribute to the design of custom-made products, taking into account customer specifications, needs and preferences.
  • Drive innovation in selling techniques by adopting new technologies and techniques like cross-selling, opting for sales recording, invoice generation applications/portable machines, social media etc.
  • Educate and sensitize employees towards digitization and automation of processes, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.
  • Foster a culture of utilizing advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization.

Skill Development and Team Performance
  • Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/inputs to enhance their skills, abilities and knowledge.
  • Recommend training as required for team's development, growth and success.
  • Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater to the organization's needs, expectations and requirements.
  • Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in any field is preferred. All qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their academic background.
