Automotive Product Development Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design development of automotive-related projects. This role requires experience in 3D modeling, sheet metal, weldments, manufacturing drawings, and casting.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will work on various aspects of mechanical design, including product development, testing, and implementation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise and creativity to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative automotive products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of designs into production.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Analyze and troubleshoot product performance issues, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 3-6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
