Automation Specialist

A seasoned Automation Specialist is sought after by our organization to conceptualize, develop, and deploy innovative workflow automation solutions utilizing Microsoft 365 and external systems.
This role demands expertise in Copilot Studio, Power Platform, scripting for integrations, and business partnering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, custom connectors, and REST APIs/Azure services. Additionally, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# and familiarity with the Microsoft Graph API are desirable.
The Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining Copilot Studio agents for internal and client workflows, integrating with Microsoft 365 apps and approved knowledge sources.
- Building secure, supportable Power Platform solutions (Apps/Automate/Pages) with custom connectors to REST APIs and external services.
- Implementing API/webhook interactions to orchestrate cross-system processes, instrumenting and tuning performance.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver iterative value, documenting patterns for reuse and handover.
- Operating within our organization's governance framework and coordinating with IT on ISO27001 expectations for Power Platform solutions.
Success Outcomes (First 90 Days) include delivering 2–3 Copilot agents that integrate with Teams/Outlook/SharePoint and a defined knowledge base, standing up core Power Automate flows and custom connectors to key REST APIs, demonstrating API/webhook payload scripting in a productionised workflow, and confirming alignment to our governance framework.
