Job Title: Technical Author for Airbus Aircraft Documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) documentation for various Airbus aircraft models, including Single Aisle (SA), Long Range (LR), Mid Body (MB), and Extra Wide Body (XWB).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and update ATA chapters related to structure and cabin.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools and standards for authoring and validation, ensuring compliance with Aerospace Tech Data processes and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with illustrators and junior authors to develop content and conduct quality checks on IPC documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Airbus documentation tools, such as SAP PCS and CATIA.
  • Strong understanding of IPC structure, aerospace standards, and technical writing principles.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and supplier documentation.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools and communication strategies.
