Aircraft Maintenance Manual Author

About the Role:

Key to our success is a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about creating high-quality technical documentation for aircraft maintenance manuals.

We are seeking a talented Aircraft Maintenance Manual Author to join our team. As an AMM Author, you will be responsible for developing and revising Aircraft Maintenance Manuals in compliance with Airbus standards and aviation regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and revise AMM tasks for Airbus aircraft programs including SA, LR, MB, and XWB.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to create accurate maintenance procedures.
  • Evaluate compliance with ATA iSpec2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE100 standards.
  • Utilize Airbus-specific tools such as GIPSY, GIDOCA, SAP, ZAMIZ, DACAS, and PDMLink.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct peer reviews and provide guidance to junior authors and illustrators.
  • Maintain documentation quality and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in AMM authoring for Airbus aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of ATA chapters related to airframe and systems.
  • Familiarity with Airbus documentation standards and tools.
  • Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
