Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

Description:

Our organization seeks a skilled data insights specialist to collect, process, and analyze complex data. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data querying, visualization, and storytelling to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Translate business questions into data queries and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations, product, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support forecasting and optimization.
  • Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate business performance.
  • Document data definitions, processes, and business rules.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Familiarity with Excel and at least one statistical or scripting language (Python, R, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot).
