Regulatory Filtering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Filtering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in protecting our business from legal, regulatory and reputational risk.
Key Responsibilities- Support the RTB team lead in safeguarding our database from sanctioned entities and/or countries by diligently reviewing and confirming transactions that require escalation.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable Sanctions regulations and bank policies while deciding on escalated transactions.
- Execute internal control checks as defined in KOP documentation and Embargo control framework documents.
- Support reporting obligations to competent authorities regarding transaction handling.
- Timely update relevant embargo lists in filtering systems and implement data in central and decentralized tools.
- Review stopped messages and take decisions based on limited rules provided by AFC.
- Record rationale for decision from predefined options.
- Seek feedback from senior investigators/reviewers where decisions fail four-eye control.
- Provide support feedback loop and filter optimization by identifying repeat mismatches.
- Use user access privileges only for authorized purposes and safeguard sensitive information.
- Participate in trainings such as HotScan, Sanctions policies, L1 procedures, specific payment types, and message structure/form.
