Job Description:

As a Deputy Project Manager (DPM), you will be responsible for executing projects with high volumes exceeding 500 crores. You will command entire projects and have thorough knowledge of tender clauses, billings, department correspondence, and claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute single projects with large budgets
  2. Command entire projects and have in-depth knowledge of project management principles
  3. Resolve complex issues such as permissions from local bodies, highway authorities, and forest departments
  4. Have expertise in construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
  5. Excel in communication and negotiations to ensure successful project outcomes
  6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  7. Develop project plans considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates
  8. Monitor and control project progress by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives
  9. Create collaborative and high-performance working environments that foster growth and development
  10. Prepare and manage project budgets, controlling costs and achieving targeted margins
  11. Assess and approve project expenditures, considering their financial implications on the project cost
  12. Implement quality control measures, safety rules, and regulations to ensure project success
  13. Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions
  14. Plan resources, manpower, and materials to achieve budgeted/planned performance
