Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and be proficient in accounting software.

  • Responsible for month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries;
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements;
  • Assist with ad-hoc queries from internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with corporate policies and processes;
  • Review the fixed asset register and reconcile it with the general ledger on a monthly basis;
  • Provide input on processes to other team members as needed;
  • Coordinate with auditors for timely closure of audits;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS/statutory reporting;
  • Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or SaaS businesses;
  • Proven experience in MNC environments and knowledge of finance and accounting in other markets;
  • Experience managing the month-end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less;
  • Knowledge/experience in accounting standards: US GAAP or IGAAP;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
