About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper with expertise in financial management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance principles, with demonstrated proficiency in software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day financial tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Prepare financial documents, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, including tax compliance, financial planning, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of financial issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Stay up to date with developments in financial software and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
