Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in backend frameworks, database management and API integrations with a focus on performance, security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain backend systems, APIs and services that meet performance, security and scalability standards.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs/GraphQL for internal and external use, ensuring seamless integration with frontend elements.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable and secure server-side code that adheres to best practices.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL) to improve data storage and retrieval efficiency.
  • Implement robust authentication, authorization and data protection measures to ensure application security.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests and maintain code quality to ensure the highest level of software reliability.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Open Source Technologies or Node.js/Python/Java/.NET.
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful API/GraphQL design and development.
  • Strong experience with databases (Microsoft SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on performance and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.
