A skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend frameworks, database management, and API integrations, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs / GraphQL for internal and external use.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and secure server-side code.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL).
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests , and maintain code quality.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Technical Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Open Source Technologies or Node.js / Python / Java / .NET (depending on company stack).
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful API / GraphQL design and development .
  • Strong experience with databases (Microsoft SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) .

Soft Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on performance and scalability.

Experience

  • 1–4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
