Purchase and Logistics Specialist Required

Description of the Job:

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle procurement, logistics, and supply chain management activities.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring items such as Process Instruments, Switchgear, Panel Components, PLCs, and VFDs.
  • The individual will need to follow up with vendors for deliveries and prepare documentation for customs imports and exports.
  • This role requires coordination with freight forwarders for quotes and reviewing transportation costs.
  • The candidate must handle logistics, prepare documents for import and export shipments, and manage transportation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing and sourcing products from various suppliers.
  • Logistics Coordination: This involves working with freight forwarders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Supply Chain Management: The candidate will need to manage inventory levels, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Documentation and Compliance: The individual will be responsible for preparing necessary documents, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position requiring regular working hours and occasional overtime. The candidate must be willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.
