Job Summary:

The Logistics Executive is responsible for the export logistics operations. They tie up with customers to schedule exports, ensuring compliance with local government requirements such as excise and customs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with the Production team to schedule hassle-free exports and fulfill customer orders on time.
  • Executes continuous improvement projects through harmonized logistics processes and systems.
  • Implements process improvements through operational scorecards and receives timely feedback from customers on service and improvement.
  • Develops and executes product group and site-level Exports factory logistics strategies.
  • Supports internal and external operational benchmarking activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Quarterly closing to physical verification as per hygiene standards.
  • Ensures nil detention at warehouse and interacts daily with material handlers and transporters to avoid production loss due to material.
  • Manages all procurement activities and weekly tracking of Feed stock vs. desired level of stock deficiency, keeping in mind.
  • Closes proper transactions to strengthen relationships.
  • Responsible for Import clearing of pre-dispatch samples and maintains records for tracking mechanisms to ensure forward contracts based on demand.
  • Maintains various statutory requirements with regulatory bodies.
