Logistics Operations Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Logistics Operations Specialist is to oversee export logistics operations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with local government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with customers to schedule exports and guarantee adherence to Local Government requirements, including Excise and customs regulations.
  • Collaborate with Production Planning teams to schedule hassle-free exports and meet customer order deadlines.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects by applying harmonized logistics processes and systems across sites.
  • Maintain operational scorecards to track progress and solicit timely feedback from customers on service enhancements.

The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for quarterly physical verification in accordance with PACE hygiene standards and maintains knowledge of standard versus actual material norms. This individual ensures nil detention at godowns, facilitates daily interactions with material handlers and transporters to prevent production losses, and oversees procurement activities along with weekly stock tracking against desired levels to minimize deficiencies.

This role involves highlighting Time-Based Opportunities (TBOs) and ensuring proper closure to strengthen customer relationships. It also requires maintaining a strong connection with stakeholders to optimize logistics performance and ensure efficient supply chain management.
