The Pricing team at American Express is looking for a highly skilled analyst to join their ranks. This role will play a critical part in maintaining a balance between profitability, competitiveness, and compliance within the organization. The analyst will lead and inform lending growth and pricing strategies through analytics, leveraging internal and external data. Key responsibilities include developing pricing models and strategies that align with business goals and market conditions, executing strategic analysis across International Proprietary Co-brand markets to identify revenue-generating opportunities, and partnering with other business units on key lending decisions. In addition, the analyst will work with multiple business and technical teams to deploy strategies that grow Amex's share of lend, profitably expand eligibility of products, and increase customer engagement. A solid understanding of the economics of lending products and key levers of profitability is essential for this role. Knowledge and experience of statistical and analytical techniques, practical coding experience with SQL, and understanding of financial, credit bureau, and behavioral data are also required. If you're a self-starter with strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join the team.
