About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our global team. As a key member of our technical organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing resiliency in application code, troubleshooting incidents, engaging with squads to address failure patterns, and participating in incident management.

Key responsibilities include executing on incident, change management, and problem management processes, building and supporting reliable application suites for environments, providing consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming, ensuring platform performance and availability meet enterprise objectives through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning, working to improve and implement automation of applications tasks, and providing technical support for systems/platforms according to application SLAs.

You will be responsible for identifying and articulating the severity of impacts using provided monitoring tools, escalating as needed, conducting root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions and prevent recurring problems, and monitoring, managing, and tuning platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.

Requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting ability is required, and you must lead calls or contribute in a logical fashion.
  • Focusing on resolving issues before they become incidents, you will identify and articulate the severity of impacts using provided monitoring tools and escalate as needed.
  • Root cause analysis is essential to quickly recover from service interruptions and prevent recurring problems.
  • Monitoring, managing, and tuning platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. You should also have experience with cloud-based technologies, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, and relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Azure Developer Associate can be beneficial.
