Job Title: Senior Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of complex network infrastructure supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network consisting of Juniper, Aruba, Mist, with some Cradlepoint & Cisco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable network architectures that meet customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network implementations, including change management processes.
  • Support and coach junior engineers in the team at a technical level to provide high-quality services/solutions to customers.
  • Lead and assist in defining strategic initiatives to enable delivery of complex projects.
  • Manage deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects.
  • Perform advanced analysis on complex incidents and act as escalation point for internal teams and clients.
  • Fourth-level support for Operations as part of the 'Incident and Problem Management Process'.
  • Create standard operating procedures for other engineers to follow in order for them to successfully deliver solutions.
  • Lead and own projects and a small team of engineers, driving projects to successful conclusions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to networking.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN & LAN beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal, and comprehension essential.

Experience:

  • 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks.
  • Experience within telecommunications organizations/international companies beneficial.
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level.

  • Flexible work attitude, being willing to work irregular hours when required, but at the same time knowing how to set boundaries and find a healthy work-life balance.
  • Ability to cope with the politics of large company environments.
  • Communication: Professional level of personal and business communication at levels from operational engineering to customer technical contacts.
  • Ability to work proactively and reactively in an autonomous manner.
