Senior Snowflake Expert

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake developer with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.

About This Role
  • Lead the management and maintenance of the Snowflake platform to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Design and implement Snowflake architecture, considering best practices for scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough performance optimization activities to ensure efficient use of resources and credits.
  • Oversight of governance and compliance practices, enabling appropriate audit logs and ensuring data security through role-based access control, masking etc.
  • Execution of proofs-of-concept to evaluate new features and functionalities.
  • Enablement and configuration of new features on the Snowflake platform.
  • Development and implementation of integration design strategies using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, and Kinesis.
  • Implementation of API-based integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of Snowflake projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with Snowflake and AWS cloud platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, design, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and governance practices, with the ability to enable and manage audit logs.
  • Expertise in performance optimization and credit usage management on the Snowflake platform.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, and Kinesis.
  • Proficiency in API-based integrations and data integration strategies.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
